These billboard vinyls were once advertisements on a billboard and can now be used as tarps, coverings, awnings, pond liners, RV covers, and more. These vinyls are made of heavy-duty, water-resistant, UV protected PVC coated vinyl.

  • Re-purposed billboard vinyl
  • Water-resistant, UV protected, heavy-duty coated PVC vinyl
  • Average thickness varies: 9 oz. - 12 oz. per sq yard / 12 mil
  • Approximate weight: 20lbs

*Billboard vinyls are checked for large holes or tears. There is still a possibility of small pin-sized holes. The billboards have an extra 4-6" of material along all edges known as pipe sleeves/pocket edges that are not counted in the size of the vinyl. The edges of each billboard will likely have rips or tears since they were secured previously by this portion of the material. These edges will not affect the body of the tarp and are not considered damaged tarps.

Best choice for a tarp!

Got it primarily for my Jon Boat and that's where it will end up. Temporarily using it to cover my 5x8 trailer for a short trip (folded it in half). A lot more rugged then the blue/grey things. Will probably get another one to go over my 8x10 shed (it leaks). Just remember that it has two sides Black/White. Unless you're OCD about color ... why spend the money. These things are AWESOME!!!

Good value

The tarps are heavy duty. Some of the edges are irregular but for my use, that doesn't matter. Compared to the price of a similarly dense new tarp, these are significantly cheaper in cost but not in quality. I am happy with them so far. I purchased ten and have only inspected 4 but they are as advertised.

Serves the purpose

It definitely serves the purpose, would beleive could be cheaper as a repurpose, but i suppose with high shipping cost and a little on the bone for handling,it's not a bad deal, and as a non tree hugger I suppose it a decent price.

Great tarp

Heard about these tarps for a while now so I figured I’d give them a try. It arrived a little bigger than needed and with tough edges. This allowed me to cut to size and add my grommets. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Kinda disappointed

The edges were very torn up which is inconvenient because I was planning on putting a pole through them to hold them straight.

Not good for trailers

Using this to cover a trailer is not recommended as mine shredded after 200 miles. My old poly tarps lasted longer. There were thousands of shredded vinyl pieces covering everything. Maybe I just got a heavily UV damaged tarp but i figured if these tarps are made for billboards that they would stand up to some wind.
