These billboard vinyls were once advertisements on a billboard and can now be used as tarps, coverings, awnings, pond liners, RV covers, and more. These vinyls are made of heavy-duty, water-resistant, UV protected PVC coated vinyl.

  • Re-purposed billboard vinyl
  • Water-resistant, UV protected, heavy-duty coated PVC vinyl
  • Average thickness varies: 9 oz. - 12 oz. per sq yard / 11-15 mil
  • Approximate weight: 45lbs

*Billboard vinyls are checked for large holes or tears. There is still a possibility of small pin-sized holes. The billboards have an extra 4-6" of material along all edges known as pipe sleeves/pocket edges that are not counted in the size of the vinyl. The edges of each billboard will likely have rips or tears since they were secured previously by this portion of the material. These edges will not affect the body of the tarp and are not considered damaged tarps.

What do I think after a few years of use

What did I think after several years of use!
Well it has outperformed 5 other tarps I have purchased locally, and it is as good as when I received it! I have purchased 2 more large additional large tarps to replace about 6 other tarps and for use in new areas. These tarps are heavy duty and heavy in the large sizes, but they are exceptional and well worth the money! I have just under 2 acres, in Oregon and these are holding up in all weather conditions we have here - High wind, freezing cold, rain, snow, heat above 100 degrees, and the tarps are handling it all, just make sure you have them anchored down. The tarps are heavy and do well in low and mediu winds for this area, but in really high winds, "if" they took off, I'd hate to see what they could do! It would take a lot to pick up these larger tarps, but we do have dust devils, whirl winds, and gusty high winds. Smaller tarps would be more likely to get airborne. Great product and you'll end up spending less on these than buying cheaper tarps that have to be replaced every year or so!!

Great Tarp

I Purchased a tarp from BillboardVinyls a few years ago. It has worked out great! I am using it to cover my trailer. The old tarp is still holding up but is starting to fray. I am planning on using the new one next season and retiring the old one. Great price.

Heavy duty reused billboard vinyls

I purchased 2 of the 14'x48' vinyls and cut them into 24' each and covered some firewood as well as three classic cars to protect them from the weather. These vinyls hold up really well compared to the normal store bought tarps. It is one of the best things I have purchased for outdoor use. Money well spent.

Believe the hype!

"More rugged than the 'blue tarps'" they said. "Economical" they said. "Yadda yadda yadda marketing speak" I said. So I bought a 14x45.
DAAAANG!!!! This thing is a BEAST! Yeah, it's thick and rugged. Economical? Well it was 5 bucks cheaper that the big one I bought from HF so, even if it only lasts one season, (boat cover), it's a better deal. Good stuff!

No more leaks in my camper !

I bought a 14 by 48 ft a month or so ago, for my camper that i live in. No more leaks, and now with the very cold weather, it is keeping so much warmer. The left over pieces are being used as covers for anything that needs covering. I am so happy with this purchase !!!

Great round bale covers.

I have used the 14 by 48 for several years and they hold up great. Some hay was covered for two years and they still didn't let the hay get wet. But after two years in the weather they can be used for 4 wheelers mowers wood and tractors.

WONDERFUL!

This 14 x48 billboard was everything I wanted. With my own grommets I look forward to creating several tarps of various sizes. And trust that they are truly waterproof. I will never buy a Tarp from a store again. AND I am recycling product that is superior to what I can buy.
